My obsession is the discontinued older models. I really only have one major HTF left, the P.I.G. Police Model. I might add there is one "NTITF" that would be great to own, the original two screw Worker. ;)

Acronym Legend:

HTF - hard to find

P.I.G. - Pride Integrity Guts

NTITF - next to impossible to find

I wouldn't say I have a model fixation per se. I like to collect the rather unconventional spydercos. The dodo, captian, dyads, crickets, shabaria ayoob, etc. The more unique the design the more I tend to gravitate towards it.

I guess I'm one of the Q guys  I also like the colored G10. I believe I have one of each G10 color except the new FG (which hopefully won't be long). I also have 2 G10 colored Spydies with non-Spyderco G10.

I'm trying to find "that knife". You know, the one that is the perfect end all knife?

I'm almost positive that it doesn't exist....at least for me. Who knows.

It seems that no matter what knife I get I always find a little something that I don't like about it and end up searching for another one.

I don't know if it's quite an obsession yet, but I suppose mine is becoming the Military. I currently have four of them: a G10/S30V, two CF/S30V and a CF/BG-42, and I'm on a waiting list for a CPM D2 coming from my favorite pharmacist. I just wish he accepted my Blue Cross coverage.

Probably Chase Axxin of Chaxknives on both. Know Chris had at least one done by him. And yes, my obsession is the Kiwi, especially when customized by the fine folks at Santa Fe Stoneworks.

I'm exactly the same. Spyderco has some of the most unusual designs I've seen, and they are all extremely useful. Some of the weird designs from other companies look cool, but they have no usefulness whatsoever.

I'm Partial to The Delica ;) . It has a very comfortable feel for me.......Believe It or Not Especially The SS Handles. There is just something about the way the SS feels in my hand. It's sturdy and I love the weight.

God Bless :)

Militaries and carbon fiber. I love the full flat grind on the militaries and the shiny CF on the older CF knives.

I am partial to waved Endura... and to small fixed blades I make myself, mostly.

I have a passion for colored handles. One of the reasons I'm a sucker for the D4. This results in pieces to fill my cabinet with.

I also have a 'thing' for 3-inch full flat grind leaf shaped blades with tip-up clips. This results in knives to fill my pockets with. :D

The three characteristics that make a :spyder: highly desirable to me are: a full flat grind, a lefty friendly lock, and a reversible tip-up clip.

Add colored scales to the above mix, and there's no way I won't buy it ;)

I'm an admirer of Spyderco's designs. Using them is like immersing yourself in music or studying a painting in a museum. I buy some "fine" art but my preference is for usable art.
