Thought you might like to see my pimped Yojimbo.

Spyderco C85 Yojimbo Folder. This is a last-of-a-kind design of Abalone (from the Philippines) and jet (gem grade coal) by the renowned Santa Fe Stoneworks. The multi-color web has over 200 pieces of exquisite Abalone Shell and one inlaid Spyderco silver spyder connected to the web. This is a high-end custom design by Charles Giron, Master Craftsman with Santa Fe Stoneworks.

Did you just win that on ebay? I've seen one listed that looks exactly the same.

Very nice though, I never would have thought of "beautifying" a Yo.

Really, really nice.

I think I need to pick up a Yojimbo. It has that "different look" I like in a knife. Think I will wait till BLADE to handle one first and see how I like it in my hand though.

I like it a lot especially the way they seem to have replaced the whole scale rather than just setting material on top of the existing material like the seem to do with any of the stainless steel models if I'm not mistaken.

Nice!

Funny, I am sure we were bidding against each other in that auction. I had my snipe set at $224. Any higher than that is too rich for my blood. And as we know, the ending bid was a lot higher than $224!

Have fun with your new toy.

this is actually the 1st "full scale" embellished Yojimbo I've seen....the others that were 3/4 covered (that I saw on fleabay in the past) were IMHO sorta "fugly"....so blade5, i'd give u my other kidney for this special Yo...Congrats! :)

Won't get the knife for a couple of days, but
I don't think the pivot can be adjusted. Here's a pic of the back.

Oh no hard feelings. You definately wanted that piece more than I did! Way to go! That thing is beautiful.

Just promise to post some nice pics when you get it so I can live vicariously through you.

Just received the Yo. You can adjust it. The pivot adjustment was put on the clip side of knife.
