The Monday Picture Show! Apple Coral Kopa

#1

Post by pjrocco »

Hey all,

This little gem just arrived on the late truck via UPS. I must say, the apple coral is very attractive and a bit "gritty" which is a good thing IMO. What else can I say? Take a look for yourself. :)

Enjoy!

Congrats Rock.

I've been partial to Cocobolo for some time now, but that apple coral of yours looks to be an excellent specimen. Thanks for sharing. Always enjoy your pics.
First they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not stand up, because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Very nice Rock!! I think at some point, I see more Kopa's in my futrure. They are a very nice little knife. They feel very good in the hand and I love the blade for a small knife!

Rock,
Nice pics. They definitely show the scale texture. I was hoping for a highly polished surface like the red coral in my patriotic kopa. I have inquired about doing my own polished version. The manufacturer will be busy for a while since they are producing then next 2 versions :D I have no doubt that the gold lip and turquoise kopa's will be beautiful.

That sure looks pretty! I really want one, and you just made the craving worse. Thanks for that! ;)

How does the apple coral 'feel'? Same as the tiger coral? I find the tiger coral to be a rather grippy (porous material) and warm to the touch material, much like smooth G10. Does the apple coral compare?

Hey Wouter,

I think they are very close. Although the Apple Coral seems to have a little more grip to it than the Tiger coral. Not sure if every piece is the same, but this one sure is gritty! :)
