Very cool! I hear there may be a linerlock made out of Golden one day that looks very similar to that one.

I was at bladeshow last year, and the prototype for Shawn's folder was on display. I might have been one of the first 5 ppl to find out spyderco and him were collaborating. He showed me the first prototype but deleted the image. Overall the design did not appeal to me. There were a lot of other models that peaked my interest, but the 4 inch Caly stood above the rest to me.

I understand. I liked it. Thought it was unique for a Golden build. The Calys always get my attention. Maybe I will see you there this year!

Sadly I won't be going to blade this year. Just not in the budget.

Sorry @Steeltoez83. I understand. Fortunately, it is local for me so I just drive back to the house.

Thanks guys! I still want to grab a Knife Art exclusive with the CF scales for summer shorts carry. Then probably call it a day. Maybe a box elder too because I like the look of it. That's all.

Couple of Saturday's back I handled both the 3.25" and 4" plain titanium Harsey folders, seriously well built/overbuilt knives!

I'd love to hear your comparison between this Spartan and your Hinderer....

I've had a few, sold most. Here's some thoughts I still stand by:

The Spartan I had was not impressive in the least.
Had to send it back in...
Hinderer has always been 💯 (for me anyways)
