spot neck knife, salsa, clip it's

#1

Post by ZrowsN1s »

Just got my monthly email from tactical elements. They have some rare Spydies.
Two Spot neck knives, two vintage clip it Delicas, a gunting trainer, and a salsa with a collector # (why I didn't get it).

Have at it https://www.tacticalelements.com/spyderco-knives/

With prices that good, they didn’t deserve to last long! Wish I saw this post sooner!

The S.P.O.T. (Self Protection Option Tool) was the first iteration of what eventually became the finished "Swick". As I remember, there were about 22 versions before I was satisfied to make the "Swick" production model. the basis of the tool was the "Finger Ring", invented by Fred Perrin. Brilliant designer.

Kind funny/weird. We couldn't sell the SPOT n the UK because it was designed for self protection and in the UK, you are not allowed to protect yourself.???

Since losing my OG Endura, my SPOT is my oldest Spyderco. I've had it since they were in production way back in the day.
