Worth waiting if you particularily want the maple one, otherwise just go with the FRN LW!
For me the Chap really is the one small knife one wants in the quiver, even if large folders are generally preferred (like it is with myself too).
Both a "gents knife" and - to me even more so - a real work horse. Extremely sturdy built, very slicey, but still strong blade, super thin carry but for that good and especially very "stable in hand" ergos, enough grip area for even larger hands (of course by utilitzing the choil - a feature that in a knife that small really makes sense, while in a size bigger (Native, Para 3...) not necessarily anymore imo).
