Left Handed SPYDERCO’s ❓

Appears only Para & Military are only dedicated Southpaw models.

True or others?

The Manix 2 is ambidextrous, and I would also consider the smock a lefty friendly knife as well. I have not had any issues using the smock, just have to be mindful of your middle finger when your using it.

the manix is the best spyderco and is ambidextrous, as are all backlock models.

With CRK and recently, Hinderer dropping lefty-specific models of their knives, it's a pipe dream if mine to have some of the framelock Ti classics like the Slysz family redone for lefties by Spyderco.

I know, they're basically ambidextrous given they have left-clip positions, but what would I give for a lefty Chef or Swayback or even Bowie.

To answer OP, yes the Military Model and Paramilitary 2 are the only two left hand specific models.

The left hand models are the same as a right hand model . The PM2 is smaller using a compression lock and has clip placement options . The Military is larger using a left hand linerlock , and is only left hand tip down . I hope this helps . MG2

Yes , his question pertained to current knives . The Bob T and Jr. along with dedicated Police and Delica left hand models are nice older variations . I may have missed some other models not sure . MG2

Left handed Military is on the way to me -- they sure are getting scarce. It will be a nice companion to my left handed PM2. I would like to see more left handed models but I do appreciate how costly it is to manufacture new parts for us ten percenters. Just looking at my PM2, it required retooling for different scales, liners and compression lock. None of those parts are the same as on the right handed model. Even the markings on the blade are reversed.

Same here. It’s great that we get two flagship models for our very own Lefty selves. Very much appreciated.

I’m sure the offside crowd appreciates it too.

Spyderco does them in batches, I would guess, so they go in and out of stock.

I am not sure how the Left Handed Models see, we SouthPaws are only 12 % of population.

Is the left-handed military 1 discontinued?

Well, THIS.
...and I´d say there are quite some to select from plus one gets the other benefits backlocks offer too ... ;)
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):

For those lefties lamenting the lack of models made specifically for us, cheer up. I'm sitting here with a LH PM2 in front of me, as well as a RH PM2 onto which I affixed a little button. I carved the button out of a handy chunk of material and stuck it on with CA glue. Using the modified RH model is better than the LH model.

Very cool!!

And for those who don´t want to make such a button themselves:

There is the aftermarket "compression made easy" device, see here viewtopic.php?f=2&t=90167#p1540050

(And I have to say: I am a righty, but still have no problems to operate a regular comp.lock with my left hand...)

You caught me. I was sincerely flattering the inventor through my act of imitation.
