Re: Endura M4
So who’s buying one tomorrow? I know I will be.
Re: Endura M4
Like others have mentioned, the price and color of the FRN work against this Endura M4 exclusive compared to the regular production K390 at just $12.85 more.

$98.53 is only for Endura4 K390 FRN Wharncliffe Plain Edge and Drop Point Spyder Edge while the Drop Point Plain Edge is still $142.80.

Re: Endura M4
Well the Knifecenter Serrated Edge Police 4 in K390 for $113 looks like the better deal for me. Lots of competition this month.
Re: Endura M4
Still in stock. Rit dye is your friend. I’m still enjoying the factory bevel, plan to reprofile soon.

Re: Endura M4
Oh my gosh, I so wish I had the money for one! My favorite handle color and a steel that I really want to try. Unfortunately, having a standard Endura doesn't give me a good excuse either.

Lesser steel better handle material > higher end steel plastic handles and backspacer. In my minority perspective

Re: Endura M4
I got mine this afternoon in the mail. I'm not thrilled about the color but it won't stop me from using and enjoying this version. I'm an Endura guy and I have liked M4 since I first tried it. It's not really bad at anything and it takes a nice edge pretty easily. I won't go out of my way to think up tests for it but I will not baby it either just like the rest of my Enduras.

I freaking love M4, but K390 for $10 more at KnivesPlus etc seems worth it IMO

Re: Endura M4
I wasn't waitin' for it per se, but as soon as I saw your post this morning, I definitely jumped on it too, lol, and I am very much looking forward to getting it in hand, sharpening, using, etc...
I don't know if I'll dye the handle or not, but I am going to do my "normal" slightly past straight spine (so concave), e.g. worker-esque spine re-profile that I've started doing on my PacSalts & Enduras, and smooth the finger "bumps" on the handle a little too. I love the Endura; and for me, with just a little bit of work, a great knife becomes even greater.
u.w.
Re: Endura M4
I picked up an Endura/M4 last weekend at the Seconds Sale. Just as another data point they were $80 out the door.
I also had the Sage 5, Delica, and Native 5 versions in my basket but tossed the Delica and Native 5 back. (You gotta leave a few for breeding purposes, ya know. )
