Scored a NIB Warren Thomas Karambit

#1

Post by American1776 »

Always admired the Warren Thomas Karambit, and finally found one NIB.

This is a beautiful little piece of fine craftsmanship.

It’s also a BEAST. The tip is super sharp and the frame lock is perfectly executed. I would estimate that the cost to produce this was much more than its price tag could justify.

A beautiful little gem.

What is the purpose of that knife? Self defense?

That's a beautiful knife. Though I'm pretty sure you could just punch for self defense.

Dear American1776:

Congratulations on your score! I've got one of those in my collection from the old days. Definitely a unique piece.

Stay safe,

Cool little blade

... and the size of your upper arm certainly warrants wearing a Superman-shirt! :cheap-sunglasses

I was totally gonna comment a similar thing. Or the fact that my full body mass is contained in one of American1776's arm !
:respect In the collection :respect : Lots of different steels, in lots of different (and same) Spydercos.

Robin. Finally made an IG : ramo_knives

Thanks for all the replies.

It’s a nice little blade that really has a nasty bite (the tip got my finger in a moment of distraction).

(And thanks for the compliments on my fitness: I’ve been a powerlifter for 25 years and will be lifting until the day I die).

How do you deeply deploy the blade? Pinky finger?

Cool. :clinking-mugs

Always appreciate when people are enthusiastic for whatever physical activity these days where so many seem to have forgotten that they actually have a body, muscles, bones.. that are meant to be used.

And everyone who (still) CAN should be grateful for that.

It looks good. I like them, but I have never trained in using one. The best guy I've seen using one is Ray Dionaldo of FCS. He has training videos that you can buy on his website.
