Girlfriend named the fawn that's been jumping around in our neighborhood, "Skippy". He and him Mom have been 'pruning' my tomato plants, so I renamed him "Stewy".SaltyCaribbeanDfly wrote: ↑Wed Jul 05, 2023 5:15 amGolden Mantled ground squirrel, never knew but very cool…wonder what the bag limits are cuz it’d take a mess of em’ that size to make a stewkohagen wrote: ↑Tue Jul 04, 2023 6:05 pmI did too until I was going thru the visiter center at Jenny Lake here in the Grand Tetons and was informed by the rangers that it’s a Golden-mantled ground squirrel. While camping in the Grand Tetons in 1985 a 'small animal' moved into our '83 Celica. As we moved westward toward Seattle each morning we'd find that he'd gotten into the trail mix, so he was living in the car. Never saw him, and left the windows down to give him an exit, but he was in there for at least a week. After we got home he eventually died in the car - the smell only lasted a couple of days. Never found him, but we assumed he was one of these things we had been calling 'chipmunks'.

Re: Spyderco Photo of the Week Contest!
I bought a crossbow a few months back - we have so much wildlife living in our neighborhood that I could sit on the couch and hunt deer, squirrels and raccoon right through the far living room window. I have a picture somewhere of my coonhound at the window literally treeing a raccoon ten feet away in our walnut tree. Of course such harvestings would only occur in an end-of-the-world scenario.SaltyCaribbeanDfly wrote: ↑Thu Jul 06, 2023 6:49 pmSkippy…StewyHolySteel wrote: ↑Thu Jul 06, 2023 9:23 amGirlfriend named the fawn that's been jumping around in our neighborhood, "Skippy". Well I can’t stick one from my couch but I do have a bow stand in the backyard and I may or may not have had good luck a sit or two I actually live in the number one county in the state for P&Y’s and it’s perfectly legal within suburban areas with written permission and a permit…some behemoths pass through late Oct./early Nov.

It's one of the British Museum sets from the 1980's. I made the board using tiles, etc.
