Their last one didn't sell out immediately. The black version did. But then the satin hung around for days.

I was in the SMKW store almost two years ago and the guy working the Spyderco counter was showing me images of Para2s with colorful scales but I thought he said they would be S30V so I wrote them off. Now looking back I think they were these and I believe it was 3 models in blue, green and red. I honestly thought they had come and gone with no fanfare but now I’m thinking these are them. I didn’t know anything about “fat carbon” at the time and thought they were some urban camo pattern G10.
Anyway if I’m remembering correctly (which is always questionable) there will be a set of three Para2s in this vein and the last will be red.

Congrats Burton, you nailed it. :bug-red-white

Whack Arnolds :yawn :disappointed

Not even sure a Manix would get my money on this one. I pictured this looking better in my head, even as a PM2.

For me it's just another PM2. I don't have a PM2 with M4 yet but I have plenty of others that get really sharp just the same. I wouldn't mind checking out some of this fat CF but I'm not going to shell out $200 just for that. If I was just getting into Spydies I probably would've been all over the first one of these. So I'm glad that those who want one can get one

That's pretty much a let down. It shouldn't surprise me that it's a PM2 but I was hoping for and even kind of expecting something different. It looks like they are trying to flood the market with Fat Carbon PM2 exclusives. I still wish somebody out there would start selling Manix and Military exclusives at this rate.

Not my thing, but I like seeing more options. M4 is great and it was a native (any size) or manix I would consider it, but probably not buy. Not sure how that scales would look in person.

They should sell all of them. The PM2 is a safe bet. Many here will pass as we already have a few.

Good pricing for fat carbon and m4. It'll move quickly enough.

I am in, really like how the last one looks out in the sun. Would have preferred something other than PM2, but PM2 are a smart choice if you want a hot seller. I wonder if they got a few more orders in before Spyderco suspended exclusives orders.

Yep, aftermarket Fat Carbon scales are $130 or more. The $200 price of this knife feels like a good value, especially given that the standard DLC PM2 is $168.70
