Re: Dragonfly - show the love!
These two have kicked every other knife out of my pocket. The longer clip makes it easier to deploy and re-attach, and I relocated it to the lanyard hole for a better look and a slightly deeper carry.

Re: Dragonfly - show the love!
I really, really like that clip move mod you did.
How did you make the "new" or extended wire clip grooves? Melt them? File? Dremel?
I want to do this mod to my DF's too.
Thanks in advance,
u.w.

Hi u.w.
Melted. I made a jig to hold the original clip in my drill press so I could align the grooves and control the depth. Heated the original clip with a torch until it glowed. Then pressed down. Made sure to turn the clip around so that only the flat area would touch the knife handle! Cleanup with an exacto blade.

Are the wedges just to keep the chuck from spinning?kurt_r wrote: ↑Sun Aug 22, 2021 9:49 amHi u.w.

Probably to keep the clip stationary so it can't rotate when he is melting the clip slots. Great Mod kurt_r!Woodpuppy wrote: ↑Sat Oct 23, 2021 5:51 pmAre the wedges just to keep the chuck from spinning?kurt_r wrote: ↑Sun Aug 22, 2021 9:49 amHi u.w.
