Not mine. First run Para 3 (S30V) and first run Para 3 LW (BD1N) do not have this finish
Mine is June 2018 date code, and has a stonewashed finish. It's very close to the finish on my 2018 Maxamet Native, maybe a bit finer. I don't know about the very first run, but the stonewashed base model Para 3 G10 is not a new thing.

You stated..."The base Para 3 has always had a stonewashed finish" and I was simply pointing out that what you stated is not correct

To me, stonewashed looks mass-produced and cheap.

... and finish directly off the grinder not?

I mean - Stonewhash takes additional effort as the blades needs a finer finish than the 'satin' and then it must be sonewhashed / tumbled. Is it mass-produced? Absolutely (that is what Spyderco does). But it is not cheap (looking).
