New here, but not new to Spyderco...
Hello all,
I have been meaning to post one here but haven't had a chance until today. Actually, I had to after I received my new Paramilitary today. Wow, what a knife! If you don't have one, well, you need to get one!
This has been my first higher end Spyderco annd I gotta tell you, it won't be my last! I have had a few Spyderco knives since the late 90's but they were all frn Delicas, Crickets(for my wife), annd Natives. Never really liked any of those. A little later on, I got my first Endura from JD Spydo that totally changed my opinion of Spyderco. That Endura has been through **** and back. I carry it everyday and I have even skinned a hog with it. Great knife! But the Endura can't hold a candle to the Para! Boy, I like it!
One of the reasons I bought this knife is because of this forum. Y'all all sound like a bunch of great fellows! And what other knife company has the actual owner of the the establishment come on the board and ask opinions of their products. My friends, that is a company that cares! And it made me want to buy more of their knives!
I look foward to having a great time here. I just had to tell about my new knife and if you don't have a Para------- GET ONE!!!!!!
:D
Thanks for listening,'

Welcome aboard !
Hello Oldewelder and welcome to the friendly knife forum ! I have not been here too long myself, and have really been made to feel at home, with a great bunch of interesting and knowledgeable guys. Not too many gals here, I am afraid, but not surprising, considering the subject matter !
Cheers
Mike
