It looks like a real user Jim. Who's responsible for the handle contours?

spyderco has been making really top-notch fixed blades for years now, yet they still manage to continue to up their game! This one adds to the trend in a big way!
Re: Ankerson/Sanders Bowie Photos
Thanks everyone.
I believe Spyderco did an excellent job with it.

I would expect this to be one of the best selling fixed blades that Spyderco has ever put out.

The more I see it, the more I realize how much I want one! Sounds like a solid user!

I've got some nice fatwood waiting for this blade. Hope it gets split before next winter.

About the same weight as a K-Bar (slightly lighter) so it should carry easy too.

Re: Ankerson/Sanders Bowie Photos
My OCD is kicking in to high gear. Is the blade grind line parallel to the spine? or NO?
It looks artistic, but I'm wondering how it would look if it were parallel. I have a feeling it is better raked at a slight angle. The std is boring.
An honest to God Bowie in 4V. Only Spyderco. Sal must have colorful dreams abt all sorts of steels when he sleeps!

Very nicely done. Glad to see the production sample is out - one step closer to getting one in my grubby paws.
Any pictures of the sheath?

That's a nice looking knife Jim. It should be a great slicing knife that is strong enough for everything I usually need knives for. Good choice in steel too. Looking forward to getting one in my hand and trying it out. Sanders seems like he would be a good guy to work with on projects. Good work to the both of you!

Looking foreword to buying this knife. Congratulations to all involved in the project. Jim, having never had the knife in hand I wondered if the butt end of the knife was a little pointy for a rap with the heel of the hand separating bone. The butt looks wide enough that this may not be a concern at all. How does it feel to you?
