You have no spare funds to replace any of them. A knock on the door and you open it to see a shadowy figure, hat pulled low over his, or maybe her, eyes. Trench coat, collar up. The person hands you three one hundred dollar bills and whispers, "Spend it all, but only on Spydercos." and lurches off down the street.

You have had plenty of Spydercos. You have a Sharpmaker. You like and need knives. You are an experienced spyde-holic.

What do you buy?

HAP40 Delica (assuming I can find one at near-original prices) and a Gayle Bradley 2.

If no HAP40 Delicas, a ffg vg10 Delica4, S30V Manix 2, and the GB2.

Kinda reminds me of the hypothetical's often posted on american survival forums...you wake up and have been teleported from your house into the "wilderness". What 1, 2 or even 3 items would you want with you in order to survive?

If it happened to me in Australia, Au $300.00 wouldn't even replace the sprig, let alone the Southfork. :eek:

So I guess I would get by with the knives I still have that are not Spyderco's, that have already proven they work. LOL

Just kidding. Seriously, Sprig and Para 2 will perfect my pair. Hope you had asked this before New Year though, then I'll possibly be able to get a S110V Para 2 with this much(or little) of fund.

I will slightly cheat and include the Para 2 I'm getting tomorrow, assuming my knives would be gone overnight tomorrow and the shadowy figure would show up on Saturday morning. S30V Para 2, VG 10 Endura, VG 10 Delica.

If that would break the $300 limit, I'd go for the VG-10 Dragonfly 2

Whoops, I forgot that I had $300 to spend on any knives. :) I responded thinking I could only replace currently owned knives. I'll just stick with these though!
