New Citadel

#1

Post by spydieman »

A friend from work stopped by with a Citadel 92mm today. I couldn't pass it up. I had to buy it to go with my 86mm LOL. Now to EDC or not to EDC?

No I haven't had the pleasure of handling the Autonomy but the more I hear about them the more I want to. These two Citadels are the only autos I currently own. They feel great in the hand and I really like the blade shape on them. There is barely any of side to side movement on mine but they do have a very slight amount. I really prefer one-handed manual openers over autos, mainly because they are easier to close one-handed, and, in my opinion, are actually easier and faster to open than autos, at least for me. When I first got the Citadel, I would often go to the spyder hole just out of habit LOL.

Yes, absolutely EDC.
Had mine for a few years and love it every time I carry it!
The clip and scales have a few scuff marks, but that's about it. ^^
Yes I know, they're very valuable now, but I just love it too much to put away in a safe...so the heresy of using the Citadel continues! :P

I am so very sorry, I found the PM from Hudson just today and responded. Most likely too late to be of any value. I need to figure out how to get an email when someone PMs me.

Old thread lol. No worries here, I ended up finding one. I'd always grab a 93mm in black if I get the chance but for now I got a user in the smaller version and love it as an EDC.
