Photoshoot of Spydies after a rain storm
As many of you know, one of the best times to take knife pictures is when the sky is overcast by still fairly bright. Today, the conditions were perfect, and it had rained overnight so everything was moist and clean.
Enjoy, and please comment to let me know what you think!

You know what would be nice? Since you take such nice pics, you should do a few portrait style so we can use them for phone wallpaper.

What's up with the two different grinds on the Turzolas? Are they the same model? Great photos.

Re: Photoshoot of Spydies after a rain storm
Thanks everyone!
LC: They are the same model, but the bottom one is modded. I picked it up at the SFO seconds sale for $10 with a broken tip. A few minutes on the belt sander at 80 grit and I have a "Mini BT Slipit."
SpyderNut: The Spin is a very comfortable 2 finger knife. As would be expected, F&F are really good, and the Nishinjin is stunning. My example is a second; I think the problem is that one of the standoffs rattles. Overall, it is definitely a superb LBK if you like the Nishinjin and more-or-less wharncliff blade.

Amazing photos. You're making it very hard to resist a Spin now.

Awesome pictures.
And Zombie...you should buy a Spin. I can attest that it makes an impeccable tie clip, or very small watch pocket carry (Shirt pocket carry also works awesome with it).

Branden,
It's funny that you mention using the Spin as a watch pocket knife, as that's exactly what I was planning on doing. It would make a good lazy day Sunday carry.

Yes, my thoughts exactly. Thanks for the info on that, GS. I'll have to wait and see if Santa brings me one tomorrow. :DStuntZombie wrote:Amazing photos. You're making it very hard to resist a Spin now.

I think you need a Sage II. :pGoldenSpydie wrote:Enjoy, and please comment to let me know what you think!
Excellent pictures as always. You Terzuola mod came out nice. I wish I would have thought of regrinding broken tips, as there were some great deals at the sale that I passed over.

Re: Photoshoot of Spydies after a rain storm
I learned a lot at the sale this year and will definitely make an even better go at it next time. Not that I am in the least bit disappointed with how I did.

Re: Photoshoot of Spydies after a rain storm
Thanks guys.
Yeah, I guess I need a Sage 2...maybe I can find a used one with Christmas money?
The $10 tipped BT Slipit was a good deal, but in retrospect, I should have gotten another Moonglow Native or sprint PM2 instead. :p
