^ Interesting the Frontier became the "Bowie". I usually don't get wrapped up in overthinking names, but I think Frontier sounds more appealing...

Super pictures.
It doesn't look like that you get PE. Just wondering why? They look nice and feel sharper.

Thank you! The Ladybug & Vic Classic combo are a kind of back-tool in my EDC. My primary utility folder is almost always plainedge, but I've learned to appreciate the cutting advantage of serrations too, that's why I always pick a ladybug with some teeth to stuff in my watch pocket.

I just checked one of these out a couple days ago at my local shop (odd that he has a sprint in stock). It's an exquisite knife for sure.

I'm really drawn to the Ti Pingo too. (Beautiful shots as usual, Wouter). Any idea how durable the anodized bug logo is or will be?

I've no clue, but I'm pretty confident that this ti finish is a scratch magnet!

Yeah, that is what I feared. :( Maybe one could offset the risk of scratches by carrying it in a pouch of some sort. I dunno.

Spyderco French Cook Knife vs Princess Cake

#690

Post by Mr Blonde »

The ‘best cut of the summer’ goes to my Spyderco French Cook knife. We celebrated my daughter’s sixth birthday and that required a cake. And a cake requires cutting. My wife created this wonderful princess cake. I was happy to cut the cake together with my daughter, using this great knife.

Beautiful picture. Your wife did a great job with cake. Birthday girl must be happy. :)
I love the knife and hope for sprint :)
Wouter, how thin it is grind to compare to other Spyderco kitchen knives?

Native 5 Lightweight 2015 Forum Knife

#692

Post by Mr Blonde »

The N5 2015 forum knife was a willing participant in my first photosession with my new camera. Lots of features on that thing and a lot to learn; it will be fun rid to get the hang of this new machine. The 2015 forum knife is my first Lightweight Native 5, I was very impressed with the design in carry and use. Click here to read my review.

Wouter,

Perfect pictures, as always. Great review, thank you. If you didn't do this yet, may be it is not a bad idea to post it on Forum. People will love to read it.
I love this knife, but I love 2013 more. :)
Thank you again. Hearing this from Delica fan means a lot.

Very nice. The Yojimbo 1 is one of the few knives I've wanted that I really have no interest in carrying or using. I'm more of a user than a collector, but I've always admired that knife even though I think the Yojimbo 2 is leaps and bounds better.
