Darr3n,
That actually looks REALLY good for being 5 years old. Makes me want to RIT dye one of mine. I ended up with two of them. Bought one brand new for full price and then not even a week later found another one on a different forum for $50.. Couldn't pass it up. It's an amazing little knife.

Totally the same ! ;)
I plan to do it, and thought somebody will have already done it, but it don't look so.
Or it's so nice that they hide them :p :D

Ive been wanting to dye this knife for a while and this thread finally gave me the motivation to do it. I dyed mine to a dark grey and switched the blade for superblue. Can't wait to put this puppy to use now :D

I have three superblue dragonflies, so I had a better chance of not having play. The first one I tried had a lot of vertical play so I switched it back and thats the way it stayed for a couple months. then a couple nights ago I tried one of the new in box blades and it fit really nice! No horizontal and very minimal vertical. Im happy with the fit and I am pretty picky with play

It's also what I notice, they do not have all the same fit.
If you have to much superblue, you know what you can do  :D

I've got a G-10 Dragonfly on my bench right now - and it is being outfitted with some nice gidgee wood scales. Promise I'll post some pics when it is finished!

I got a question regarding Dragonfly G10 or Nishijin compare to FRN, It look like after small times I have quiet a good up and down blade play on the FRN.
Will it come with time for the G10 ? or the G10 do not get blade play ? or get less blade play than the FRN version ?

That Gray, G-10, Super Blue Dragonfly looks really sweet. I thought the color was photoshop magic for a minute.

Is that a magical transition from textured concrete floor to carpet? Maybe someone accidentally spilled concrete onto carpet and tried to cover it up with texture. :)

It's snow over stucco appearing floor. :)

I agree, the dyed G10 looks great on there. Makes me want to swap my Super Blue for the VG10 in my G10 DF, but not really that motivated to do it at this point.

Oh yeah, snow! :)

Me too, but if I saw one on the marketplace, I'd probably jump on it.

It's cool this thread zombied back to life, I love my G10 Dfly. I RIT dyed mine dark green nearly two years ago and it's held up great! Awesome pics Spencer and can't wait to see those scales Ted! Now for the pics! Cheers, Radioactive :)

My g10 dragonfly is rock solid with no play, my nishijin had a TINY bit of play, and all my FRN knives did develop some lock rock during hard cutting, but always seemed to revert back to a tiny amount of play once they cool down haha
