Spydies and meat
Self explanatory. We all love Spydies and I am sure many of us love our carnivorous ways so bring it on.
The rules are simple, your picture must contain a Spydie and a piece of something that was once alive that you plan on eating. :)
My SE Stretch and a Strip Steak served the way it should be, medium rare with a baked potato and a salad. :)

Re: Spydies and meat
I don't have a pic to share at this moment, but this is a very good idea. :) Just as long as the steak is cooked to the perfect range of medium rare like you said. :p

We can be flexible. :D I am actually a runner and a health food nut myself and I eat more fruit and veggies than anyone I personally know.

Putman scaled Mille with pork chops.
Those chops didn't stand a chance.

Some prime rib (How I like it and my steaks...rare), and some pork as well.
Used my Seratta to cut up the prime rib.

You didn't prepare that meat 300 feet in the air, did you? :)
It looks pretty tasty, but slightly too pink for my tastes.

Re: Spydies and meat
Nope...ground level in my grandmothers kitchen, though you do propose an interesting, but difficult and time consuming idea...might be easier 100 feet up in the manbasket of one of our picker trucks. Easier to shield a BBQ from the wind than it is in the open 300 feet up, and easier to lift and make work etc. I might just have to do that for the most ridiculous BBQ ever, but I digress. As for the meat, it was tasty, but I honestly wouldn't mind it a little more rare. The pictures were taken with my phone and could easily look more pink than they did in person. I do like properly rare meat though. Not blue-rare mind you...that's beyond me, but rare is good IMO.Donut wrote:You didn't prepare that meat 300 feet in the air, did you? :)

~6.5 pounds of Salmon and Trout, before brining and smoking. The SouthFork did an awesome job of cutting the fish into small enough pieces.

Admitidly the PITS didn't have anything to do with the prep of these burgers, but I wanted to snap a pic.

Man this thread makes me hungry for a steak. I was grilling some chicken thighs lastnight, and should have snapped a shot of my Tuff in there with them. There will most certainly be a next time!

I like BBQ a lot. Here's one I forgot I took in the middle of the night when these were finally done. Smoked baby backs with what looks like Bone Suckin' Sauce, and my MT19 right after I finished the handle last summer:
And here's what I did last night. Yeeees, I'm going to repost it, why wouldn't I. I'm so super proud now! :D
