C01 - genuine?

#1

Post by pjt »

Hi folks,
been away for few years, but got the "bug-bite" after seeing this in a local ebay. Had to act!
Looks genuine to me, but I would be happy to get 2nd opinions if this really is a C01, and what year it might be.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts,

-pjt

Thanks rycen - glad to hear that.

The knife does feel good and sturdy, a little dab of oil will make it perfect. Looks like it has not been even sharpened. So this ended up being a real bargain! :spyder:
This was actually the 1st time I've ever seen a C01 in real life!

O actually bought mine from sal during a convention here in Las Vegas I think it was the soldier of fortune he had a table and kept playing with his spyderco and I bought one. It was inexpensive then but I'm sure it's priceless now. I've got the same handle and extruded clip with a different blade shape.
