Nice. A co-worker of mine is thinking about getting one. How do you like it? Pretty solid?

Considering the price of it, compared to other autos...its a great deal! Made in the US, a decent CPM154 steel, very light aluminum handle. I love its long, sleek design. Very comfortable in my hand (M-L) gloves. Hardly notice it in my pocket. Opens with authority. If he does get one, make sure he hangs on tight when he hits the button. The coating certainly isn't in the same league as DLC, but its held up very well with cardboard and plastic strapping. It's now my only non Spyderco knife in my collection.

The Emerson designed Launch looks pretty goid. Better than Protech's cqc7

Thanks! He has a Piranha auto but it's got some blade play both vertically and horizontally and it kinda bugs him.

I haven't given mine any kind of hard use, nothing more than breaking down cardboard and cutting some plastic strapping and some work with food. I've had it for close to a year now and put it to work at least once a week. I literally just went and checked. No blade play whatsoever in either direction.

Leatherman Rebar.

Been thinking about replacing it with a DLC Wave + with pocket clip, or the Signal. Might pick up one of those after Christmas.
