Check it out. The new Opinel Number 12 folder. It has the Sandvik Stainless steel blade and polymer handle and other features.

I hope they will also make it in other colors.

Well, that looks interesting. I am going to have to check one of these out. I guess everyone has had one of Opinel's knives in their tackle box or tool box, at one time or another. They were never my favorite, but I did not hate them, either. This one looks interesting, though. Thanks for posting.

I'm much more of a No. 7 fan, especially in HC with the beech handle.

I have a few Opinel's and I like them for their simplicity. A mate of mine has had a carbon steel No.8 for over thirty years. I couldn't imagine how many rabbits it's dressed! He's a country boy and last time I saw him we had a laugh because his 12 year old son, my Godson "stole" his beloved Opinel and won't give it back.
