Beautiful shot. Nice edge too. For some reason though, that Spyder hole looks kinda funny. :pxceptnl wrote:

I love the edge that Z wear takes. This is 800 micro bevel on 10k mirror secondary. About 13 dps if I remember correctly.

Can't seem to get this one out of my pocket. Love the simple design and excellent utility performance of this rather large slip joint. I do have its smaller brother in the mail, can't wait to try that one out too (natural micarta, lost the OD one I had ).

For about ten years, a Tarani Masters Model Karambit folder* was in my left front pocket. It displaced one of my two Civilians. I recently misplaced it, so a Civilian is again occupying that space, until I either find my misplaced EDC, or find the spare that I have stored, somewhere. The Civilian and a true karambit are NOT used in the same way, but as these two are the only knives I carry left side, tip-up, blade-forward, they can occupy that same spot without causing much confusion.
I have almost always had a Spyderco, or two, on the right side, to accompany the Karambit.
My Strider AR folder is sometimes in a pocket. It is better as a belt-sheath knife.
*This Karambit is the same design as the present 5.11 version, but made in the USA, for the original Karambit.com company, which has no connection to the present Karambit.com.

I have one of these on the way right now. Not even sure why, just bought one on a whim. I bought the larger one because I have some plans on modifying the blade shape and will probably make a new handle for it sometime later. For some reason the white just called out to me.
