+1 on the GP100. I bought a used blue 4" and LOVE it. The nice thing about revolvers is that they don't get the attention that "assault weapons" or "high-capacity" pistols get. It would be hard to ever "ban" a revolver or the ammo as they will always have a legitimate hunting purpose. They are heavy and indestructible and a blast to shoot.

The GP100 is a superior revolver. Many people do not realize that S&W makes an 8 shot .357 Magnum. That is revolver reliability and semi-auto capacity.
