I Pray Heaven to Bestow The Best of Blessing on THIS HOUSE, and on ALL that shall hereafter Inhabit it. May none but Honest and Wise Men ever rule under This Roof! (John Adams regarding the White House)

Can never go wrong with Mark Knopfler...not by a stretch.

And of course, how could I not listen to the new album just put out by Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard? It's awesome and definitely worth a listen if you haven't yet if it falls into the genres you enjoy.

Got interested in violin music again because the granddaughter took it up. I rediscovered Jean Luc Ponty too...:D

I was a bit surprised to find out that it was Randy Jackson(yes, american idol dawg) who played the bass on the original version of rhythms of hope.

Yes! I also very much enjoy the great classical artists (Bach, Mozart, Vivaldi, Lizst, etc.). Good stuff!

Yup, I periodically return to classical music. This is the first time I really actively sought out works made for violin. :D

There is nothing more complex than a good classical piece, and interesting. I get tired of listening to the modern stuff all the time (and get bored). Emerson, Lake, and Palmer, as well as, Electric Light Orchestra took classical into the rock arena and were highly successful. People thought ELP had discovered a new music but it was simply classical played on a Hammond organ and a Moog synthesizer. The Beatles, and others used classical and were very successful.

This is something I adore, and can only bring myself to listen to on VERY good speakers in an acoustically good room because the arrangement sounds wrong otherwise.

A little Five Alarm Funk anybody? My cousin just introduced me to these guys and they're pretty awesome IMO (Your opinions may vary lol). If you like your music to have a touch of the insane about it, you'll probably dig this though.
