New "other" knife....

#1

Post by MacLaren »

Just bought a Big Chris Kephart in super thin 10V.
I really regretted selling my K2, and wanted to satisfy the 10V itch.....she has blue and black g10 handles. Think I'll like it. Anyone have any experience with one of these?

Actually, I could've done a lot better myself. It reads like I already have it! Sorry about that.

Sounds pretty sweet, man! What are the specs on her? (I.e. blade length, blade thickness, etc.). Looking forward to your pics! :)

Is it an axe?? :D

I'm assuming you meant .010 behind the edge, but is the thickness at spine just .065?

It looks nice. I bet it would be good in FFG, too.

Couldnt be happier with the Kephart. Shes an absolute demon of a slicer......pics to folllow.
But, Ill add this: I really regret selling my K2. That being said, for a production folder she was thin behind the edge and very, very sharp. The K2 is one bad knife imo...
