This was another Duty Free special after my last trip to Torrance- the 100cl bottles are so much better value....I can find the standard issue Bourbon fairly easily in the UK for £25 or so, but the Rye is impossible too find.

Jester sprint you say? :)

Booker's Small Batch Cask Strength 8 year old Bourbon...69 & change per cent alcohol make this a steady sipper! (That's 127 proof to you Colonial types!)

Trying to cure my jetlag..

Mint Julep. I have more mint than I know what to do with so I usually have a couple of these each summer. I haven't even planted my garden yet and it is overrun with mint. :D

I'm a big fan of water. Seems to have a lot better long term effect for me than some of the aforementioned favorites. ;) hehe

I can't help but notice this thread sitting here all quiet at 5:13PM EDT on a Friday. As an avid homebrewer I don't think I can let that stand. Just opened a cyser that I made last year when I didn't have time for proper brewing.

Dubhe (pronounced "doobie") black IPA by Uinta Brewing Co., SLC, UT. In all my travels I still haven't found a beer I enjoy more than this one. All of Uinta's products are amazing, and I dearly miss living down the road from them. At least they distribute in CT now.

My dog loves it as well. Every sip I take, she feverishly licks my face for any traces of flavor. She has good taste. :)

I just drank a bottle of this, which I brewed earlier in the year. I don't always get along with Belgian beer (sometimes too sweet for me) but this one works.

I recall being homeward bound in Salt Lake Airport a in 2013 and drinking Polygamy Porter which may have been brewed by those guys...Very good fun and good beer too.

That was Wasatch Brewery. Everything I had from SLC was pretty great. I even began to like the 3.2% versions. It tasted like I was eating bread, and everyone loves bread.
