Spyderco Assist 2 FRN with WHARNCLIFFE modified blade. Better than the present one?

This was the Spyderco Assist 2 with FRN handle grip and Wharncliffe modified blade. It appears to me to be better than the present model Assist blade. It is more general purpose and a little sharper but it is still blunt enough to function for rescue purposes. Is there any hope of this version being remade or what are your opinions of it in comparison to the other Assists and also the Rescues?
