So many great knives on this list.

Surprised by a few. The Nirvana, Domino, and South Fork I wouldn't have expected.

Wow, I am definitely surprised to see so many of the Taichung offerings being disco'd. The Ti Militaries and the South Fork? The PITS is the best non-locking folder Spyderco offers. Many friends on that list.

Wow.... that is quite a list, and very few of them surprise me. I noticed that most, if not all, of the old-style flippers are being disco'd (the Mantra and Advocate having already had production stopped). The rest of the list seems to be mostly the weirder models or those that have been replaced (Salts).
I am a bit surprised by the Pingo; I know the laws have changed in Denmark so the design is outdated in that sense, but it seemed to be a very popular model anyways. Here's hoping it's being disco'd in favor of a new Anso/Vox collab. :p

Domino/Dice are old-style flippers and getting older, so it's probably a good time to retire them in favor of newer designs with the new flipper engineering. And I can't imagine the Nirvana had a long production run planned from the beginning given how labor-intensive it is to make. I wonder how many other knives you can make in the same amount of labor time, especially knives that are not super complex to start.

I bet they're making room for newer models, and with this many disco'd it looks pretty exciting to me.

Sal mentioned in another thread the Southfork wasn't selling well. But still. One of the best knives I've ever owned.

On the bright side, maybe there will be some closeout deals.

Many of the Taichung knives are designer/boutique runs and limited in audience so only last for one batch.

Surprised on the Southard though which has been around since 2012 and quite successful.

let the closeout price games begin :D

My least favorite thread of the year! Always a bummer seeing some models get discontinued, but it's inevitable!

Surprised to see the Nirvana already getting discontinued! Going to have to spring for one of them ASAP! Also, would love to get my hands on a Vrango, Firefly, and Myrtle before I can't!

Lastly, incredibly sad to see the Squarehead discontinued. I'm going to have to get backups for my backup of that one!

Interesting, a few surprises in here for me as well. Looks like it's time to finally pull the trigger on a Southard!

A little surprised about the micarta Street Beat but mainly sad about those old school Salts...

Love the old school volcano grip FRN and I'm not very happy with the thicker handles on the new FRN so I'll have to try and get a few extra while still possible. (if financially possible, also a lot of amazing new stuff around.. )

Looking at the list again - I thought the Mike Draper Folder, Friction Folder, and Spy-DK were discontinued already?

OMG, Nirvana for $355 on gpk!

And this news came out during spookyswap. Ow my wallet. Welp, guess I do need to thin out the collection........ to make room for more southards :eek: :spyder:

I need a Temperance2. Other than that I have most of what I want off that list. Bring on the new models!!!!
