JD Spydo did a "Top 10 List" back in 2012. I seem to remember one from last year, but can't find it.

Anyway, it's interesting to me to see how folks Top 10 list changes from year to year and I'd love to see this annual tradition continued.

This is meant to be your top 10 favorites as it stands today, at the end of 2014 (NOT the top 10 that came out in 2014)

Notes: I don't own #6, but I will. I don't care what handle for #9, as long as it's ZDP. Though I imagine #9 will soon be replaced by the Stretch 2. My #5 is PSF27, but it's more about the design than the steel for me so any will do.

To the rest of my knives: please don't take this list personally, you are all special to me. Each one of you has a use and a place in my pocket, otherwise I never would have bought you in the first place, much less kept you. Pacific Salt, you were the third knife out of three that I wouldn't give up in another recent thread. Dark blue Manix, who gets used more than you? You are all great knives, and I love you all!

5. Techno - love this knife. Took way to long to get around to it, now I carry it every day.
6. Military S90V or M390. When I want more length than the PM2, I go with its big brother naturally.
7. Manix 2 in M4 (or S90V) - I have as many of these as PM2s. PM2 gets carried more mostly because it is easier, partly because PM2 is pointier.
8. Bradley Air in M4 - not too many really small knives that I like this much
9. Military Ti-RIL
10. Lil Lionspy - on order, don't have it yet, but I like sturdy blades :)

Honorable mentions -
Tusk - cool little knife with creative design, best steel option for salt exposure (IMO) and the tusk itself!
GB in M4 love it but does not get the use that the PM2, millies, and Manix2 get.
Tuff - almost forgot but this is a pretty special knife too - 3V blade (on a folder!!), and about as sturdy a design as you will find on a folding cutting tool. The ergos are a bit off for me, but as a functional tool it is a great addition. I have one being modded and another on the way.

If I could have only one - I know knife people hate this question, but easily the PM2, the knife I thought would cure my knife buying habit (it did not, but still the standard for me - what's in his pocketssss :) )

Do not own 10 spydies so some of this is based on what I have read.

1. Military (BBS S90V or G-10 S30V) Was there ever any doubt this would top my list?
2. Para 2 (CTS-204P) This one is a very close second. Great knife.
3. Domino (BBS CTS-204P) Do not own one but pretty sure this flippy CTS-204P goodness belongs here.
4. Native FRN (OEF Tan S30V) This is here thanks to its great size, weight and solid feel. Only improvement I could add would be a FFG blade.
5. Southfork If I need to explain this you must be new here.
6. Manix 2 (110V) Lightweight and 110V supersteel. Yes please.
7. Swick 4 Small, light fixed blade with a made for my hand grip. Do not forget your Halpern scales. I know I won’t.
8. Dragonfly 2 (Superblue) Great little knife that is so sharp and handy. Lost a number of spots because it fights for pocket time with my SAKs.
9. Native 5 (Forum 110V) One can dream.
10. Matriarch 2 Want to try out the hawkbill.
