GSO's Image List

Image There will be mistakes, so when you find them, just chuck me an PM and I will fix them.

Total Image = 988

Couldn’t do this list without Spydiewiki.
The guys have done a great job there.

I'll raise you Spyderholes. These are small metal discs that are cut out of the blades to form the Spyderholes. They are given away in little goodie bags to customers at the SFO.

You are lucky to live nearby the SFO and that the goodie bags have no hole where Spydyholes drop out on the way home :D

I'll now raise a Meerkat. This one differs from the one shown on page 57 in that it is made in Japan and has AUS-6 steel. The one shown I think would be better described or listed as a C64PBK. This one should be listed as the C64JPBK since made in Japan. I'm not sure though I think the J in the model distinction stands for Japan in this manufacture to distinguish it from the USA made Meerkat. This was my first Spyderco knife. I purchased it from the old Spyderco Outlet store in 2009. I have had a sharpmaker since 1985, and only after the Meerkat was I Spyder bit.

Opps :( My mistake. Peter’s Meerkat should have been added to the list as a PBK, not JPBK.

But on the bright side; :D I can match that.

It is my contention, that there are 10 models of the Spyderco Spot.
Divided into two generations of the five models.

The first generation have five holes in the blade, SKU's for those are:

FB08P - Spot PE
FB08S - Spot SE
FB08PBB - Spot Black PE
FB08BMP - Spot Micarta PE
FB08BMS – Spot Micarta SE

The second generation use the same SKU; but have a Rivet or button in the first hole to aid in sheath retention.

Models submitted so far are:

FB08P - Spot PE – With rivet
FB08S - Spot SE - With rivet
FB08PBB - Spot Black PE - With rivet
FB08BMP - Spot Micarta PE - With rivet
FB08BMS – Spot Micarta SE – gen 1

:) So.

Nice knives Reject. Your pictures make me want some Spots. I'm not much of a fixed blade guy, though with those blade shapes and lengths I could be drawn in.
