Now, if I can get my hands on a Rookie G10, my collection would be complete. :D

Well, if Spyderco is listening, we have micarta and G-10 as want to have scales for the Delica. I suspect the same results would apply to almost any lock back folder. As I mentioned before, a reasonable compromise could be reached by offering these knives with full liners, steel back lock and spacers, and using the FRN scale set...just call it "The Mid-Weight". :D

I'd be interested, as long as SE was offered.

This option is unlikely as the FRn scales are nested and to use them on the full liners would thinken the knife. New FRn molds for this application would probably be too expensive.

The G10 or Micarta options would be much more feasible do to cost or production. This of coursre is Spyderco's call. Just my opinion.

I would pay over $100 for a delica with full liners and a steel spacer. I don't care what material the handle is made out of, with full liners it's easy for me to make my own G10 handles for it. I wish spyderco catered more to DIY pimpers :D

Me too. The fundamental problem with these FRN handled offerings are that it ruins it for DIY's, and custom scale makers, who essentially cannibalize a an existing knife with full liners and steel spacers, and simply replace the OEM scales with their own creations. Try doing that with a FRN handled Delica or Endura...one would have to manufacture from scratch liners, back spacers, etc.

Call me boring, but I'd like a Delica or Endura in black G-10. The foliage green (and other colors) has never flipped my switch. What has cooled my lust for the Delica in G-10 was my personal discovery of the Native5 (G-10). Sure, it's a tad heavier than the Delica, but closed it's shorter than the Delica. A great EDC for those of us who love the Delica and the Endura. And, it's G-10.

It's actually not that difficult to mill out space in G10 for nested liners. There are a few Dremel attachments for milling that you can just put in a drill press. All you need is patience.

Hey Folks!

I would love to see a new Sprint Run G10 Delica.

Foliage Green is superb, but how about Coyote Tan?

Also Ceraglas, Kirinite, Woods, etc...

Pretty sure I got mine for just over 100, but that was years ago and it was not commonly available then.

Nice thread bump!

As common as a Delica seems, it almost feels like my current "grail folder" is actually a G10 Delica! I didn't even know the term "grail knife" until joining these forums, haha. But seriously, I cannot find one!

I would be down for a couple as well … at current prices, we are paying just about that for just about any G-10 offering other than the D-Fly or other LBK's …
