I still wish they made the GB Air with the option of a wire pocket clip. That's my only complaint ;)
FDE, that Air is gorgeous! Did you use Rit dye or something? (You've tempted me to do the same to mine...)

Yep royal blue liquid RIT dye in water brought to a light simmer and suspended for about 15 minutes. I was never a fan of the silver twill color but it takes RIT dye excellently. You cannot tell it isn't factory colored blue. I would image it would take any color well because of the translucent material under the fiber weave.
Good luck if you give it a try. Its a quick and easy mod that for me made the Air much more likeable.

Hi FDE. Yes they are wood. Walnut to be exact. :) There is also a cf backspacer that you can not see in this picture :)

Absolutely fantastic looking! Who did the milling for the nested liners? Truely a unique Para 2, I'm very jealous!

Thx. It is one of my most precious knives in my collection. :)
The Scales are made by Cuscadi in Germany. Luke makes very nice scales. :)
Now i am planning a new one. I just bought another pm2 and gave luke the order to create my idea.
Must say if my idea is possible for luke, that para 2 will even blow Sal's Socks off...
Hopefully it will be in time for the spydercomeet so i can show it to him personally. :D

This Stretch is my most carried knife while I'm at home in casual clothes. No nonsense functionality, great ergos and grip, light weight and easy carry, love the steel. Zero convexed with a small micro- bevel - its just awesome for light to medium use. During the week at work I rotate among knives with low ride clips. On this one I prefer the standard stainless hour glass clip. I tried it with a Casey Lynch low rider but it just did not feel right.

My Manix 2 s110v has been seeing a lot of pocket time lately but today I went with my Manix 2 154CM, "old reliable", while working on my son's truck. It is great for cutting hoses and secure in the hand when wearing gloves. I had to cut down the box that the headers came in so it got to eat a little today too. Doesn't slice like the s110v but it got the job done. :)

Decided to go back to this guy. It's been through a lot, from experimental sharpenings (learning) and multiple corrosion spots that required sanding and polish. Cleaned up and freshly sharpened. Absolutely love Super Blue. Easy to sharpen and the edge it takes is amazing, even without stropping. Even the edge it took from my Bester 1200 was nice and sharp :)

Not sure how the Spydie etch on the blade faded. I'm gonna guess it was over spray from the CorrosionX I sprayed in the pivot awhile back. Gives it some character I guess :p 420J sure does scratch easily too. Pictures hides them nicely though :)
