I know this is kinda an old post, but I just ran across these, (and others), in storage for many years and this was a good opportunity to dig them out. :D

Here's a pic of my old right handed Worker along with the new G10 Version.

very nice. I just ordered the new Worker. Saw and fondled one at sfo yesterday and it was the only knife that was calling me; although the Tusk was right there next in line. I know the Tusk is designed for sailer but the blade and overall ergos was great. I do not think I would use the sailers tooling on it, but it might make its way into the family at some point.

BladePlay you have quite the combo there. Both Workers and in what looks like showroom condition. Good score. I should be that lucky.

Louis Graves was a friend of mine. He invented the "Crock Stick". We worked with him and made a Spyderco version beginning in about 1977. We made and sold Crock Sticks until about 1982. The first Sharpmaker was introduced at the Texas 'State Fair in Dallas in October of 1978. The first Clipit Worker was introduced also at the Texas State Fair in October of 1981.

That's awesome! I have an old crock stick as well but idk if mine was before or after the spydedco ones. My dad had it in his tool box and I used it with pretty good success until I got my sharpmaker. Now it's just a display piece.
