Okay guys tough thoice here. I know y'all are enablers but... I have three choices... 1. Valatton for less than $150.... 2. One of the Damascus seto kitchen knives on sale or... 3. Hold out for the new 2015 spydies because there are quite a few on my list.

I really like the looks of the valatton and I don't have a Taiwan spydie or a gentlemen's folder yet. I also am in need of a nice kitchen knife because I want to start cooking my own meals. But all these nice knives on the horizon.. Ugh decisions... Lol

If you don't have any nice kitchen knives already, I'd say go for the Seto Santoku or 8" Chef's knife. I have some Shun knives which are quite similar (although I think the handle on the Setos may be even nicer) and use them every single day. They are excellent and hold an edge forever if you use them on a good cutting board.

Dang it went to check cutlery shoppe and found an older version dragonfly serrated edge with the integral frn pocket clip, it was the last one I could not resist and the price was right. I am oficially bankrupt. And also my first spyderco for 2015.
