Military black blade in foliage Green

#1

Post by scoobyguns »

Would it be a good combinaison to have the Military and the Para-Military with black blade in foliage green G-10?
:) :spyder: :)

I think the dark green g10 with a black blade would look nice. I don't prefer coated blades though so I would probably pass.

A dark green Para2 with a black blade made in M4 would be pretty amazing and I would buy two.

I would go for either a foliage green or dark green (like on the CTS 204P Para2) in a matching set.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

They already made a 1200 piece run of foliage green Militarys so it might not be so easy to get another run.

One of my favorites actually:

Yes I remember.
But with the black blade it could become a regular product of the military line.
I don't like the digital camo.
It is unrefined for a so small object.
Military flashlight, grenade, armo box, binoculars, etc, aren't in digital camo.
They are paint in one color. Most of the time green or black.
Helmets, pants, jackets, holsters could be in digital camo because they cover larges surfaces.
And the black G-10 handle is not realy my army style. It is more civilized style.
Black blade, black clip, foliage green...... hummmmm
The real thing!
Maybe one day

Something like this? ;) This is close except the scales are the light grey ones off the Cruwear sprint (the color difference between these scales and the light foliage green scales is not that great). It's been upgraded since these pics with black T8 Torx body screws, which adds a nice touch. Cheers, Radioactive :)

Yes black screws will be perfect.

I thought that I read the D2 Military was only a 600 piece run.

I think Foliage green is one of my favorite G-10 colors. Technically if you wanted, you could make the knife you are after yourself...given you had the right knives ;)

I had an all black P2, but I agree with something someone posted; I am not a fan of coated blades, they tend to show wear too easily and cannot be fixed. Ends up being a waste to get a coated blade when eventually they will become uncoated
