Just curious, is the M4 PM2 expected in 2015 because...

A) We all want it really bad and have been asking for it for years so it is probably due.
B) Someone has it from a good source that it's release is likely.
C) I got a feeling.

A and C for sure, but depending on if you value crowd gossip, then B also. Like I said before, someone said that Sal mentioned (at some time or another) that it would probably be an exclusive, which would mean that it is, in fact, going to happen. But once again, it may just be an SFO-seconds-sale rumor, and even if it is true, it may not be out this year.

I think another cruwear sprint will be on the cards, maybe a PM2 or a Native following on from the Millie (2013) and Manix 2 (2014).

An M4 Pm2 would be awesome and I hope it will be a general release sprint rather than an exclusive.

I was thinking the same thing. I wonder if it went the way of the "production" S110v CF Native 5. I think I remember something about the CF being a problem?

I am quite sure there will be at least a couple of sprints that were not mentioned in the catalog / newsletters. There are always a few surprises, I imagine partially because Spyderco doesn't want to over promise/over commit and partially because I think Sal loves dropping his "casual bombshells" out of nowhere whenever he can. :)

As for what they will be, I have no clue, but I'd love to see:

- A new color of MeerKat in ZDP-189 or another steel upgrade
- Lil Temp 2
- Rookie in CF
- FRN Michael Walker

Mostly A, I think. It's so overdue that I really wonder if it will really show up, though.

The M4 PM2 is so overdue that you wonder if it'll ever be made now. If it is, I'd bet even money that BBS has an option or contract on it, which is okay with me but will probably start several howling threads.

I banned myself the last go round. I inevitably crawled back but please God no. Please make it a standard sprint. If not for my sake, then for everyone's pockets and self respect.

It's so requested that it will sell out even with BBS which scares me. Their last four exclusives (Elmax PM2, Lil Matriarch, Blue Millie, and 204P Domino) are still sitting in large quantities.

To be clear, I don't have any inside knowledge at all. But this one is so overdue that if it were going to be a true sprint, you would think it would have come along a long time ago. And BBS did do the Manix 2 M4 exclusive, so there's a little symmetry there, but putting this idea and BBS together is really a long leap.

No idea what is coming (and that makes the surprise more fun) but I can wish for a ZDP Centofante 3 and a C15 or a C19 Terzoula in VG10.
