What tool for Pacific Salt clip?

#1

Post by barcibus »

Hi,

What tool can I use to remove the clip on a Pacific Salt? I was going to try a broad flat screwdriver but I was worried that I'd strip the shallow slots in the head.

Hi barcibus,

Welcome to the Forums. The clip screws you mentioned are designed to be loosened/tightened by simply using a dime or other small coin.

Hope this helps!

I find a quarter gives me more grip and fits the slots better.

Not for americans...they probably think we're "Loony" for naming our $1 coin the Loonie. I personally prefer Twonies because of the slightly larger diameter, and lack of flat spots.

I always use a screwdriver if it's too tight from the factory, then I use loctite and a quarter.
