Just got a new (to me) CF Stretch that I picked up at the post office this morning and carried today.
Very happy with the new addition to my collection! :)

Also experimenting with my newest purchase... a light tent and tripod setup for better night time macro photography. I have some learning to do apparently.

Looks good to me. I have to ask about the paracord on the light. Did you do that?

I was carrying the S35VN PM2 and S90V Yojimbo today. Finishing off the night with my Rubicon and a drink of Sailor Jerry's Spiced Rum.

Yes, I did the paracord work. It was going to be a turks head, but turned into a ring knot.

I'm pretty new to collecting Spyderco knives, but these are the folders that I've acquired in the last few weeks, the Vallotton being today & the one that I'm going to be carrying along with my Delica 4! I've got a question for you Spydie experts. I'm wanting another Light/Medium use EDC, and I'm stuck between the Gayle Bradley with the CPM-M4 Hollow Ground Blade, for $122.89, or the Spyderco Stretch with the ZDP-189 FFG in British Racing Green for $89.89. Pros & Cons would be greatly appreciated. I also have very large hands, which is why I unfortunately sent back my Marcin Slysz Techno, I could barely get a comfortable 3 finger grip on the handle....BUT I'm waiting for the Marcin Slysz Bowie to drop in price, haha. Thanks much. :p

You've certainly started your collection boldly!

I'd hardly steer you away from the Bradley Folder, which you can use hard. It's in my pocket today, along with the Techno, whose size doesn't bother my largish hands. If hand size is a limiting factor, you might want to wait on 2015's G10 Stretch2 in ZDP-189. It's a tad longer than the lightweight you've mentioned. You might also consider the Manix2 XL. And I absolutely love my new Tatanka, but it's not for everyone...

Welcome to the Forum.

Thank you, Marc. I'm torn, but also I'm not.... I'm not a HUGE fan of hollow grinds, but I love how heavy built the Gayle Bradley looks. I much prefer FFG, but I don't want to pass up a Gayle Bradley if it's only ~$30 more than the Stretch in ZDP. I'll probably end up waiting for the Stretch 2 in ZDP/G10, I like how that looks!

I, too, prefer FFG (and leaf-shapes) in my folders. Drawn to the the Bradley for its M4 and robustness, the Bradley's blade-shape opened my eyes to the FFG Stretch family. And by such discoveries are a collection made.
