Happy Thanksgiving to you all!

How about you?

Well I'm going to spend the morning to early afternoon delivery Thanksgiving meals to the poor and homeless on this Great USA Holiday and feel very priviledged to do so. So during my delivery duties I'll be carrying my 440V, SE Native, C-111 Captain and my PE, G-10 Sprint Ayoob model in honor of this great tradition here in America>> and feel very grateful to be able to own those great models.

I wish all of you here at Spyderville a very Happy Thanksgiving.

The irony...I spent all week feeding the rich and well homed, and there wasn't much of a feeling of privilege in doing so, though I do enjoy what I do and love my community and am always happy to help and go the extra mile, whether or not they need it. I guess even the rich deserve to smile, and it's my pleasure to make that happen. :D

Though I'm glad it's over and that I finally get to retire my Manix 2 in favor of a more leisurely model for today. I think I'll go with my Caly 3 SB, and of course my Ladybug SB, but only because it's attached to my key chain which also carries the most important tool for today: a bottle opener.

Today I am traveling quite a bit and visiting both my in laws as well as my family. Planning to carry my Damascus Caly and my Superblue Endura. Never know when I will be needing to carve something in the kitchen so my PW Coyote Meadow will be in my carry bag... just in case.

Typically I pull out my Caly 3 ZDP for holidays, but this year work calls and I'm planning on a 24 hour shift (no that's not a typo). So, it'll be my standard work EDC, which is my S110V Manix 2 LW.

PE 92mm Citadel, because I'm thankful to now live in a state where it's legal to own and carry, and the David Clevinger engraved sambar stag Kiwi that's in my avatar because it's a personal favorite.

Something USA made for me.

Manix CRUwear is what I'm leaning towards, or the CF S110 Native 5.

2 great sprint runs and one will make it in the pocket today!

Travelled a bit too. I've been enjoying my gifted Police 2 in G-10/FFG/SE, just an awesome lightweight, slim carry.

Happy Thanksgiving! Delica 4 ZDP for me today, deep pocket carry. This one is dear to me because of the hours I spent convexing it to a zero edge with mirror finish.

Darned autocorrect! Always turns "convexing" to "conveying."

Happy Thanksgiving all.

Today I'm carring my Worker and my Kahr/Emerson Delica.

I chose the Worker for today because Thanksgiving is about giving thanks for the things you have and the people in your life. The worker represents the people that work hard to provide for there families and the people that work to provide us the things we need to make this day go off without a hitch.

The Delica is my faithful companion everyday of the week always there when I need it. It's wearing blue scales now because I purchased a Blue Kahr Delica for a friend (So they could learn the ways) and switched the scales to black...yoga pants go figure!

I'm thankful for my friends, family and loved ones that are here in spirit. For the opportunities to better myself and the people that have pushed me to do so. Im also thankful for Spyderco making the innovations and products they have.

Well I got through my Thanksgiving feeding job today and enjoyed it immensely>> Got sentimental this afternoon thinking of old times here on the Great Spyderville Forum and remembering some of the great old Forumites from the Past like the esteemed "Dr. Hannibal Lecter MD", Worker #9, Daywalker, PJRocco, smcfalls, Simona, Jimmy Dean and many more that I used to enjoy chatting with. Not to mention the throng we had on the "Now's The Time: For A New Hawkbill" thread when it was running :D

It got me so sentimental that I broke out one of my old ATS-55 original C-44 big Dyad model. There is something about holidays and great old Spyder models>> it's like they were made for the occassion.

Happy Holidays Spyderville
