:O Christmas come early!!! What color?

That's hilarious that you're headed back in for another round. You're a trooper, I shudder to think how early you were up and how cold it must have been. If any CF PM2's are left I'll take it off your hands ;)

Forgot my jacket there, so I had to go back. Had a nice chat with Gail this time. I thought all the best stuff would have been long gone, but some how I ended up with anther fluted Ti Millie, but this one is the electrically anodized version, so it's a consistent blue color. I shouldn't have gotten any more knives, but for $120 I couldn't say no. :D

Liquid Cobra wrote:Wow Kyle, that sounds pretty incredible. I'm going to have to make it out there next time. What kind of condition were the knives you snagged in? I can't beleive you scored that Para!
Most of the knives were almost perfect. Some off center blades, the laser engraving not quite straight, maybe a slightly uneven grind. The S90V/154CM Para 2s all looked perfect except for the off center blades (they didn't rub the liner, but were pretty close). They had about 10 of them. IIRC, even the ones that made it out through QC had some centering issues, so they were a steal at $100.

Glad I wasn't the only one who was so excited they left their coat behind! ;)

This was my first time going to the SFSS and I'm really hoping there's one next year before I leave Colorado. I showed up around 0630 and felt like I was at the end of the first wave - not too many others showed up until close to/after opening time at 0800. By the time I got my basket around 1000 the line was around the corner again. If I'm able to go again next year I might try to get there a little earlier and I would bring a torx set to check screws - several were loose. I was able to restrain my self a bit and found what I was looking for and some I wasn't...

Military ($60)
Military Left Hand ($70)
Para-Military CTS-204P ($50, needs work)
Byrdwrench + case ($45)
Diamond rods ($10)
Ultra Fine rods ($1)

Let me guess, did an airline sponsor this thread?! (It seriously makes me want to fly to Colorado for this, from Oregon... oh wait, I think the point was to save $$, doh!)

Congrats to all on their scores!

My neighbors in front. I got to Spydieland at around 8PM:

This was the line on the day at 9 AM. Note, the line snakes around inside the large atrium inside the building too:

It was a long night, but glad I could be there.

Thanks Gal and Sal and everyone at Spydieland for the wonderful opportunity!!!
