Thanks guys! As for opening up shop...I don't know...as much as I would love to be a custom knife pimper, I can barely churn out one or two every few months. :o

I am planning on leaving with loaded pockets so maybe I won't show up so fully loaded myself.
Excited to check out the foundry though. :)
It's a knife fan party...you have to have knives.
:D I'll see you there.

I just bought 2 new Spydercos = the Ulize (plain edge) & the Police 3 G-10 (spyderedge).
I'm selling the Ulize on e-Bay for a little profit money & am keeping the Police with the serrated blade. I don't know why, but I'm a huge fan of serrated blades. I like knowing that if I need to rip thru some strong cloth (as in a seat-belt), the serrations will tear clean thru the thing. Plain edges aren't as hungry as serrated blades, imo....but as always, Tweech's Zone.
Both are VG-10 steel & both manufactured in Seki City, Japan...which I think was Spyderco's original headquarters. If the Ulize came in a serrated version, I'd be keeping that 1, but for ripping thru tough items, plain edges just don't seem to have the same strength. :spyder:

Spyderco has always had their headquarters in Golden Colorado, but their first knives were manufactured in Japan if I remember correctly.

Love this picture.
Nice to see some knives that obviously put in some work. Well that and you can't have to much Super Blue in your life.
On my radar: 110V Military, Police 4 and some sweet Rex 45 Military action.
Newest Spydies: S90v Ti Military, Pacific Salt and a special Kiwi.
