Holster varies with season and dress, but the handgun in it is always some version of the S&W J frame. As for Spydercos, my small folder is almost always some version of the Kiwi and my large one some version of the Stretch.

Today's carry:

I ask that we keep the discussion on track and avoid any discussion about the need to carry or the safety of where we live or what it takes to make us feel safe or anything political. We should start a thread in off topic for that. We are in the spyderco general discussion forum and should try to keep the discussion to what the OP asked. What guns do you pair with your spyderco knife and that is it. These threads with guns can go on some wild tangents and not always in a great direction. Keep the gun/knife porn coming. Very classy carry there Deacon.

It is a maxpedition notebook holder and it is smaller than any of the edc organizers and works very well for my uses. I recommend it if you actually want to carry it in a pocket. It has a SAK craftsman in it in these pics but it holds my leatherman wave very well also.

Yes Sir I did, although I didn't know the proper terminology for what I did, thanks for letting me know! I wanted a 3" PM2 and Sal is taking to long to make one so I made my own. I quite like the extra handle on the short blade.

Huh, kind of a closed mind way of thinking. There are a lot of people who say you don't need a pocket knife either, does that stop you from carrying one?
I don't carry a handgun because I am afraid of any man. I carry a handgun because the likelyhood of when/if you ever run in to a thug/gangbanger/ criminal they will be armed. It's pretty much guaranteed mater of fact. I just want to make sure the playing field is a little more level. I hope I never have to use mine, but I'm not going to resort to picking up rocks and throwing them when the criminal is armed. I also pay attention to my surroundings and don't go to the part of town that is known to have illegal activity going on as well.
Ever have anyone in your family or a friend that has been attacked by a animal of the four legged variety? I guess you have never had a encounter with a coyote, feral hog, mountain lion, wolf,or rabbid dog either. Might want to also consider that when you are taking a walk or hike with your family. These animals are also known for wandering in to so called "Urban" areas as well.

I just like guns, so I carry two wherever possible. For the last 2 years solid, it's been a Kahr PM9 and a Seecamp .380. I've tried for years, but haven't found a combination that works better for me. So I don't really pair a knife. It's just whatever knife I decide to carry that day. Today it was the Slysz Bowie.

My only pistol, and admittedly I have never carried that Delica. I do take the CW45 with me everyday though.

Darby, agreed completely...

Just started a new thread in "off topic" for the gun safety / why we choose to carry / etc. topics tangential to this conversation:

Gun safety, why do you carry, etc.

Guys, please use that thread for gun thoughts related to the above topic, so we can all enjoy the gun/knife porn in this thread. :-)

Thanks!
Dan

I'm going to sit back and watch- how long before this thread gets into an argument of tip up or tip down? (barrel up or barrel down) :O

J frames seem popular with this bunch. Me like a j frame.

Nccole, nice framing! :-) How do you like the Remora sticky holster for the CW45? Good retention all day long, stays where you put it?

And what carry position do you find the most comfortable for it?

At roughly 20oz, yours is about the same weight and very similar frame size to my Glock 19.

Nccole has great taste and I too swear by my Kahr and carry it all day every day. I don't pair mine, because the Kahr is a constant. To add to your comment on the Glock, I just felt that the single stack Kahr models were way more comfortable to carry and shoot. Great thread.

I like this pic, but honestly I carry my CF Caly 3 and Ruger LCR together more than any other combo. I just don't have pics available.

Then don't carry one. However, the " I don't like it and therefore you mustn't do it" clearly does not apply here. There are times when it is necessary in order to protect oneself or others... :)
