My vote goes to the CF CPM154/S90V, maybe not the most logical knife but a truly lovely one. If mine wasn't one of the better samples then I'd vote good old CF S90V.

I voted the blue M390, although I don't own one. It's my favorite color G-10, and a great steel. It's my personal grail knife, which I hope to own some day. :) I also really love the camo G-10 on the S30V model.

I voted blue M390 for three reasons. First, it is my work EDC and we have bonded over many tasks. Second, the steel is very good. Third, I really like blue.

I have only three Para2s. Of them, I favor my 204P, but I do not love Paras. I only hold them in the highest regard.

I reserve my love for Manix2s, imperfect though they are. Give the Manix2 a compression lock and complete flow-through like a Para2 and it would be close to perfect in my book, but not a Manix...

The Superleaf was my favorite carry a few years back. Apart from the compression lock and complete flow-through, I really like VG10, and on the Superleaf, you get one thick sample of it.

But I feel I have better control of the Manix2 in my hand (something to do with the relationship between the thumb ramp and choil, not to forget all that jimping on the handle's spine and underside). Besides, the Manix2, when closed, doesn't have the peculiarly pointed protrusions that make the Superleaf a bit more hoggish in the pocket; and the Manix2 does have the hour-glass clip that I prefer on heftier knives. All this said, if a Superleaf was my only Spydie, I would not complain.

I don't agree that you have to try every model to have a very good idea if you might like it or not.

I never rubbed poo on my face but I can almost guarantee I would not like it.

Agreed. The OP didn't ask which was was the absolute best in every person's comparative testing, he just asked which was our favorite.

I don't have PM2s in S30V, XHP, or S90V, but I've used those steels. I don't have a PM2 in M390, but it's compositionaly similar to CTS-204P. Thus I can make a pretty good judgement on which one is my favorite to own. And to be honest, the performance of all of them is top notch, so it really just comes down to cost and color, and I think the 204P one wins on both counts.

S30V wins on cost I think. Is 204P 80% better than S30V? That's using current price delta's of course.

I would think many/most who follow this forum bought the 204P version at KW when it was released because there were constant updates about it. So price would not be secondary market. The cheapest PM2 is around $110 these days, I believe, and the 204P was $150. Is $40 for a unique color and better edge retention worth it? That's up to each individual. I never touched my 204P because I have a sentimental attachment to my S30V (it sent me down the rabbit hole that is collecting).

You're probably right about S30V, my last sentence was mostly in comparison with the other sprints/exclusives, but I didn't make that clear at all. It's is cool to have a different steel, although I'd probably be just as happy with S30V in a dark green package. Heck, one or more Manix sprints were just a different color G10, and they sold well.

I voted CF S90V because it's the one I carry the most. Besides being an really great knife to use, there's a sentimental value that'll make me treasure it forever.
