SPYDERCO SANJURO

#1

Post by VashHash »

OK so it's been confirmed Mike is a Kurosawa fan. I'm also a Kurosawa fan but i'm curious why is there a yojimbo 2 when sanjuro was the sequel. I have the answer. The Spyderco Sanjuro will be the bigger version of the Yojimbo.... well i would like to think that is the case. I'm thinking about a 4-4.5" blade keep everything just like it is. When can we expect the Sanjuro to come out? If need be maybe implement the self closing mechanism from the szabo. Just putting it out there i think it's a pretty good idea. i like my yo2 and my szabo but if they were the same size it would be so much more fun. Anyone else interested in something similar?

No idea what this is but I'd be all about a 4 inch Yo 2.

How about scaling down the blade height on the larger rendition?

Huh. I'll be the first weird one here to say I'd like a smaller Yo2 actually. :)

I'd like a Yojimbo 2 but with a spork blade instead of knife.

Im waiting patiently for the Nojimbo. Similarly sized handle to the yojimbo, it possesses no blade, acting only as a reminder that the most successful battle is the one that is not fought.

I've said this before, I would just love a 2.89 inch Yojimbo 2 with titanium scales..

1) you're crazy ;)

2) I would actually LOVE to see a Ladybug sized Yo 2, as long as the handle worked with 2 fingers the way the Ladybug is. Or, just give me a wharnie or even sheepsfoot Ladybug and I'd be happy.

I'd be okay with an S sized, 2"ish blade as long as I can get a full grip on it. Maybe a Native 5 with a Yo 2 blade (and maybe S110V if I'm lucky).

1) Lol. No, I'm not crazy. My mother had me tested. ;)

2) Yes, yes, and yes! A Ladybug or Manbug-sized Yo2 Wharnie would be perfect! How about Ti scales and a S35VN blade?
