Lil' Temperance SPRINT?

#1

Post by razorsharp »

Who else here would absolutely LOVE a Lil' Temperance sprint?

It has always been an appealing little knife to me.

I think it would be a hit personally. If we can make this a 100 page thread like the orange Dodo had I think we might get it :p :D

Who else would love to see one?

Trav, I am down for leaf or trailing blade shape. I would however like to put in at least one vote for an SE version.

I just bought a s60v Leaf shaped Lil Temp user, it should ship in a couple days, but I would still love a sprint.

Definitely needs to be a few Rhino ones made :D.

There is a rhino one on reddit for 300 dollars.... auch. :p

There is obviously some demand.

Seeing that its such a rugged style knife; some Grey, brown, even black G10 would be awesome. (CF or Ti in my dream world ;) )

Golden's factory is getting bigger- more room to make sprints- LOL

Oh that one's mine actually :p

Paid more than that for it and turns out it's a bit bulky for me, I'd much prefer the Techno for a bulky knife. If it doesn't sell I'll probably keep it and use it, but gonna see if I can recoup some money if I can. If not, no big loss, I wouldn't have bought it if I couldn't afford it but for what I paid, there are other knives I'd rather have.

I just have poor impulse control when it comes to knives :D

I'd be down for one with a good ol fashion spyderco black handle and satin blade to pair with my green!

My leaf has been sitting waiting for some use. I'd be down for a 110V or some high-alloy steel.

I doubt a sprint is likely when the Lil Temp 2 is in the pipeline.

Do you know, how far away it is?
Also what I read about Lil T2, it will be quite different to compare with Lil T. I like my Lil T, but not interesting in Lil T2.
Regarding Lil T sprint, I think this will be very long shot. I think that Spyderco currently has quite a few tasks to make new facility operational in addition to run current facility. Expansion is not easy. A lot of problems could happen, if you do not think all things through or do not have enough resources.

A sprint is not likely. The tooling is gone, so it would be a new model with new tooling. Sorry. We do have a Lil' Temperance 2 in the works, but it's not a sprint.

Haha I'd rather use it than sell at that price :p Also in my experience, I've had $40 average for shipping internationally (I think it was $38 for a 20CP PM2 I sent to Australia), but thats fully insured and with tracking, which I prefer to get especially when dealing with expensiver knives. Recently sent some chocolate to England and that was only $20 but the total value was $15 so didn't see the need to insure or anything, I could take that loss. $200+ and it's well worth it to me to spring an extra $20 up front for the added protection.

And yeah I know I overpaid for mine haha that's what I get for being impatient lol.

Also, nice, that's a great price. I should browse the bay more often, although I've had good luck with knives at a few local gun shops.

Also wow we can now have quotes within quotes, I don't remember that on the old forum. Hopefully people decide to delete images within them at least or else we'll have
