I would like to introduce myself to the forum. My name is Chimpchumper and I'm a spyderholic.
I have been trying to join this forum for several months and in that time I had a chance to read up and learn quite a bit from the community here. Truth be told when me and my friends went to buy our first knives I hated spydercos. I thought that they were funny looking and went with benchmade. One of my buddies bought a gerber and the other bought a spyderco and I just didn't get it. Then about 3 years ago I bought a Paramilitary 2, Digicam and satin S30V after hearing all the rave reviews. And just like that, I was hooked. It's like I understand scientology all of the sudden. :D So here is what's happened 2-3 years later and I can't get enough.
I'm sure it will look like a starter kit to many of the vets here but I am extremely proud of my collection. My biggest regret is that I got on the bus too late and missed the orange, gray and blue paramilitary 2's. Sal, if youre reading this and have some extras lying around i'll buy one of each :)
Full disclosure. I am absolutely not a computer or internet guy, I only bought my first computer about 3-4 years ago and it was just to play fantasy football. I had to google how to upload an image just now so I hope it works.
