Wow that would be great. I didn't even know that these were in the works. I was considering a blk/blk frn delica, but now I may wait.

I believe a G10 Endura is being considered. The last I saw, Sal was looking for suggestions for the blade steel.

With the recent "Exotic Japanese Steels" thread, I'm sure he has some good candidates.

You might be able to pick up a 10GPFG on the secondary market if you're impatient :p

I highly recommend BOOMER52 GrindMod Delica, if you are impatient (or not!)

Mine hasn't left my pocket since acquisition.

Does Steve still offer these? I thought that was a 1 time sale of one he modded.

Is this the one? Was it a sprint / exclusive or will it be back in stock at some point?

AFAIK... you just contact him, and get on his list. He is a hobbyist, so not constantly producing, but communication is spectacular, and I am very happy with mine. (I got three sets, and gave each brother one).

I initiated contact through bf, but he's a member here, too, although slightly less active here.

Caveat is that you modify your own liners... I did ours with a Dremel sanding drum...

Discontinued production piece. Was quite pricey... so I think only two or three batches were made...?

Aside from the different feel in handling it, what would be some upsides to a G10 Endura/Delica vs the FRN handled models? Stronger and more durable in extreme conditions, and better grip-surface? That is, if the same basic blade steel is used but the main difference is the G10 as opposed to current FRN handle.

Other than a few exclusives, we do not have plans to make G-10 Endura's and Delica's.

Thanks for the reply and the info Sal! Always appreciated! The red st nicks g10 delica satisfied my desire for G10 delica, but will there be any endura exclusive options in the near/distant future?? No matter the different models I've owned, I seem to always come back to the Endura, and a g10 would be just great!

The cost of Japanese g10 is insane though.
